African women football player of the year, Asisat Oshoala will seal a move to the United States National Women’s Soccer League this week.
Her current contract with Barcelona will be due by the summer and has chosen a new team, Bay FC in California for a reported fee of €150,000.
The 29-year-old striker has been upset with her playing time of late, and with her contract up in June, Barca are looking to cash in to avoid losing her on a free transfer this summer.
Oshoala joins Barcelona from Chinese champions Dalian Quanjian in 2019 while the league is in its off-season.
The Nigeria striker has scored 107 goals in 149 appearances for Barcelona since joining in 2019.
