The Algeria Football Federation, FAF Walid Sadi president has confirmed that Djamel Belmadi is no longer the Head Coach of the Algerian National team.

Djamel who led the Algeria team to their second AFCON title in 2019 have failed to win a game in an AFCON tournament since their last 1-0 victory over Senegal in 2019 finals.
The 47-year-old had told his players he was quitting after they were eliminated from the Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday their 1-0 defeat to Mauritania.
