The Ghana Football Federation has apologized following its disappointing group stage exit from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations campaign and says it will take “the requisite steps” to address the reasons for its failure.
The Black Stars of Ghana were eliminated in the group stage with just two points from three games after three injury-time goals in two of those matches.
The FA apologized through a statement released on Tuesday which reads” The Ghana Football Association extends our sincerest apologies to the good people of Ghana and all stakeholders for the recent disappointing performance of the senior national team, the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations Cote D’Ivoire 2023.
