The Angolan players have been promised so many rewards if they beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday.
Antelopes of Angola will clash with the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Friday in the first Quarter Finals match of the 2023 AFCON.
After qualifying as runners-up from Group A, the Super Eagles delivered a comprehensive display against Cameroon in the round of 16 to advance to the quarter-final stage of the competition.
Angola stand between them and a place in the last four, with the former booking their spot in the last eight with a 3-0 win over Namibia.
As a way to motivate them ahead of their quarter-finals clashes, The Antelopes have been promised a reward of 8 million Kwanza ($9500) by Keve Bank to each player.
The players were also given an iPhone 15 by the telecom company UNITEL and a free 1-year subscription after their win over Namibia.
Each player will receive $6,000 from the Angolan bank for defeating Namibia 3-0 in the AFCON Round of 16.
The Angolan diamond company, Social EP, has also promised to give the team $250,000 if they defeat Nigeria while the municipalities Administrator has promised each person of the national team a plot of land in the Angola Capital.
Angola will play at Abidjan’s Stade Félix Houphouet-Boigny against Nigeria in the quarter-finals of the competition on Friday, 2 February. It will be on the same turf the Super Eagles beat Cameroon in the round of 16, to advance in the competition.
