The knockout phase Matches will begin on Saturday in Bouake as Angola who stuns Burkina Faso and Algeria to top Group D will face off with fellow Cosafa team Namibia who will reach their first-ever AFCON knockout phase
The Super Eagles of Nigeria and Indomitable Lions of Cameroon who finish as runner-up in their respective groups will clash immediately after the first match between Ango and Namibia and Saturday.
On Sunday, January 28th in Abidjan, Equatorial stuns the host to win Group A against Guinea who finishes as one of the best losers. While Egypt will clash with DR Congo same day.
Day three of the knock phase will be between Cape Verde who won Group B and Mauritania who eliminated Algeria to reach their first-ever knockout phase. The Host, Ivory Coast will face the defending champions, Senegal for redemption.
The final day of round 16 matches will be between Bafana Bafana of South Africa and the Atlas Lions of Morocco Followed by the West Africa Derby between Mali and Burkina Faso.
