Algerian Influencer, Sofia Benlemmane has been deported from Cote d’Ivoire after ridiculing the country during her visit to support her country at the 2023 African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Sofia Benlemmane was arrested and deported after recording a video claiming Africans in Ivory Coast lived in poverty compared to pre-historic times.
She further said Algeria is too developed to be in Africa and that Algeria should be geographically located between Portugal and Spain and not in Africa.
Algeria who drew their first game against Angola in group D will be in action against Burkina Faso on Saturday in Bouake.
