Nigeria Singer, Kcee has awakened a controversy by betting N3 million on the Super Eagles to emerge victorious against host country Cote d’Ivoire in the forthcoming AFCON 2023 match.
Nigeria takes on host Ivory Coast today at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium as the Super Eagles plan to redeem themselves after a disappointing result against Equatorial Guinea.
It’s worth noting that Nigeria’s Super Eagles secured a 1-1 draw in their initial Group A clash against Equatorial Guinea on January 14th.
The upcoming second match is scheduled against the host nation, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), on January 18, 2023, while the final group fixture awaits against Guinea Bissau on Monday, January 22, 2023.
Despite the draw, Kcee expressed confidence in the Super Eagles, affirming his support with a N3 million bet. If the Nigerian National Team prevails, his wager on the Super Eagles versus Ivory Coast would translate to a substantial N11.7 million.
