According to reports, Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen is set to miss the Semifinals clash with Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
Nigeria’s national team traveled from Abidjan to Bouaké today via a 10 pm Air Cote D’Ivoire flight.
However, Osimhen did not make the trip as a result of abdominal discomfort.
The Nigeria Team medics confirmed that he has been placed under close watch with a member of the medical team staying behind in Abidjan with him.
If cleared by tomorrow morning, he will join the rest of the squad in Bouake before 5 pm.
Nigeria faces South Africa in the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations, at Stade de la Paix on Wednesday.
