Famous Cameroonian mascot Ngando Pickett has appealed for support from Cameroonians after he was abandoned in Ivory Coast.
According to the legend, He has been stuck in Ivory Coast with his team since the elimination of the indomitable lions. Ngando Pickett begs for help through a video produced by journalist Kevin Fotso currently in Abidjan for the coverage of the AFCON.
The mascot says they are stranded in Abidjan and don’t have the means to come back to Cameroon.
“We were abandoned in Abidjan. We are here, we are waiting for your support so we can take the plane and return to Yaoundé”
“FECAFOOT has already returned. We have been abandoned. We are stuck in Abidjan. We need 1,400,000 FCFA for return plane tickets. We are suffering in Abidjan, things are not going well”.
Cameroon was eliminated from the 2023 AFCON by Nigeria in the round of 16.
