Manuel Luís da Silva Cafumana commonly known as Show or Chow has said the Antelopes of Angola will beat Nigeria as they did against Namibia and other teams they have played in the 2023 AFCON.
The Angolan midfielder made the statements during their pre-match conference in anticipation of the duel against Nigeria in the quarter-finals:
“We are going to fight Nigeria in the same way we fought in the 4 games we played”.
“Of course, we must take different care with the Nigeria team, but it won’t break the rule, and we will fight the way we fought in the previous four games.”
Angola will play at Abidjan’s Stade Félix Houphouet-Boigny against Nigeria in the quarter-finals of the competition on Friday, 2 February. It will be on the same turf the Super Eagles beat Cameroon in the round of 16, to advance in the competition.
