Tanzania is set, to build a state-of-the-art stadium in Arusha to accommodate 30,000 spectators for the AFCON 2027 event.
This new stadium will cover an extensive area of approximately 14.57 hectares, meeting the rigorous standards put forth by the Confederation of African Football and FIFA.
The construction of the stadium has been awarded to China Railway Construction Engineering Group for a $113 million contract.
The new football stadium will be built in the northern city of Arusha. The stadium will be used for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda were awarded the right to host the 2027 AFCON last year June by the Confederation of African Football.
