A former Nigeria Senator who represented Kaduna Central has joined other Nigerians to troll the Black Stars of Ghana first dressing before boarding the plane to Abidjan for the 2023 AFCON.
The Ghana Black Stars were Dressed in immaculate all-white kaftans after their departure and arrived Ivory Coast with woven and colorful kente fabric draped over their attire, presenting a fusion of tradition and sophistication.
But Nigeria senator said their first dressing before putting on the Kente made the Black Star look like someone in a prisoner Handcuff.
“Nigerian players look like rap artists and Ghanaian players look like inmates in handcuffs – Shehu Sani tweeted
But the Nigeria ex-senator has deleted the tweet.
Ghana is Group B alongside Cape Verde, Mozambique, and 2021 AFCON finalist Egypt.
The Black Stars will play their first game against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14 at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium.
