The Confederation of African Football, CAF Inspection team will visit venues in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania and propose to host the African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024.
The inspection team will start with Uganda on the 6th and 7th of March 2024 followed by Kenya, Zanzibar, and Tanzania.
The inspection report will guide CAF on the final decision that will lead to the award of CHAN 2024 hosting rights.
The decision for the East African nations to jointly host CHAN next year comes after the trio was awarded the rights to organize the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations in September 2023. This historic collaboration marks the first time three nations will unite to host the continental tournament.
