The third round of the 2024 Paris Olympic CAF Women’s qualifiers has been concluded with Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, and Morocco booking a place in the last round.
In Abuja, a 14-minute goal from Esther Okoronkwo was enough to send Nigeria to the last round against Cameroon.
In Mbombela, Thembi Kgatlana scored the only goal in the 56 minutes as South Africa booked their place in the last round on a 4-0 aggregate.
In Ndola, It was six six-goal thrillers between the Copper Queens of Zambia and Black of Ghana as Barbara Bandwas’s last-minute free-kick goal sent Zambia to the last round on a 4-3 aggregate.
In Rabat, It was an easy job for the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco who scored four goals in the first half against Tunisia to qualify on a 6-2 aggregate.
