Cameroon has turned the country’s largest stadium Olembe Stadium into a wedding, burial, and concert centre.
The Stadium which is still yet to be completed despite hosting most matches of the 2021 AFCON is yet to host a game after the AFCON.
According to Vision 4 reporter Bidjang, the photos below were taken at the stadium where a rich couple tied the knot
Olembe Stadium was one of the locations chosen to host the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations held in Cameroon, which took place in 2022 because of pandemic-related postponements.
The stadium held the opening ceremony and game which the Cameroon team won 2–1 against Burkina Faso and the closing ceremony and final, which was held between Senegal and Egypt; Senegal won the tournament.
