The Cameroon U-20 women’s side has officially withdrawn from the 2023 All African Games in Ghana due to a lack of financial support.
They were placed in group B to play against Nigeria, Morocco, and Senegal.
With this latest development, teams in Group B will only play two games in the tournament as a result of this withdrawal.
The African Games Accra 2023 will take place from 8-24 March 2024 in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.
Burkina Faso and Nigeria claimed gold in the men’s and women’s events respectively at the last edition of the continental multisport event held in 2019 in Rabat, Morocco.
