Nigerian Boxer, Elizabeth Oshoba has emerged as the World Champion in the women’s featherweight category.
Oshoba knocked out Italy’s Michela Braga in the 10th round of the World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver Female featherweight bout to claim the world title and extended her professional bout record to 7-0.
In November 2023, the 24-year-old beat Italy’s Martina Righi in Swindon, England to clinch the International Boxing Organization (IBO) International title.
Oshoba’s other achievements include a silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and a gold medal in the 2023 Fight Town Prospects tournament. In 2024, she claimed the IBO female super-featherweight title by defeating Martina Righi.
