Luton Striker, Elijah Adebayo has shown his interest in playing for the Nigeria Super Eagles.
Adebayo said he would like to make his mother proud by playing for Nigeria when asked about his international future.
“I would like to make my mother proud by playing for Nigeria. That would make her happy,” he said
Adebayo He is a talented forward who currently plays for the Premier League club Luton Town.
At 26 years old, he has been in fine form this season, scoring 9 goals and providing 3 assists in 23 Premier League games.
Elijah Anuoluwapo Oluwaferanmi Oluwatomi Oluwalana Ayomikulehin Adebayo was born on January 7, 1998, in London to Nigerian parents and has played his entire career in England touring the lower divisions and working his way up to the Premier League with Luton Town.
The 26-year-old striker is eligible to play for England by birth and for Nigeria through his parents who are Yoruba judging by his name.
