The camping of the Black Stars of Ghana in Kumasi ahead of the 2023 AFCON in the neighboring country Ivory Coast is not going as planned by the players and technical teams due to the facilities in Kumasi.
According to several reports, the players and technical teams are not happy with the quality of training facilities in Kumasi.
In a video posted by the Rainbow Radio Station. The players were seen driving on dusty roads which almost covered the colour of the luxurious bus to Abrankese.
Ghana’ were supposed to camp in Johannesburg, South Africa where they were supposed to play Botswana in a friendly match but the Ghana FA made a U-turn on their nine-day camping plans for the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast after criticism from Ghanaians.
The FA later settled for Kumasi for the Black Stars camping which is facing a lack of proper training facilities and dusty roads to the training ground.
The Ghana Black Stars are in Group B alongside Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique and will play their first game against Cape Verde on January 14th
