Mauritania Goalkeeper Babacar Niasse will go to the 2023 AFCON tournament as one of the tallest players.
The 6ft and 5 inches tall Babacar Niasse has arrived at Mauritania camp ahead of the 2023 AFCON.
Born in Senegal, the 27-year-old goalkeeper was part of the Senegal U17 team in 2011 before switching allegiance to Mauritania.
Babacar plies his trade for the French Ligue 2 club, Guingamp.
Mauritania is in group D alongside Algeria, Burkina Faso, and Angola and will play their first game against Burkina Faso on January 16th.
