The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) announced on Monday that it had renewed its confidence in Walid Regragui as the national team’s head coach.
In a press release, the FRMF said it has “renewed its confidence in the national head coach, Walid Regragui while assuring that it will continue to mobilize all means capable of ensuring the national team’s full success.”
Walid will be in charge of the Atlas Lions in the upcoming competitions and will be provided with complete support to attain the deserving status for Moroccan football, stated the FRMF.
Fouzi Lekjaa, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and head of the National Teams Committee, conducted several evaluative meetings concerning the national football team’s involvement in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Ivory Coast.
The Morocco national team’s journey ended at the Round of 16, with a prevailing sense of regret and disappointment across all facets of Moroccan football.
