The Nigeria U20 Women’s National team, Falconets have booked their place in the 2024 FIFA U20 World Cup after a 1-0 Victory against Burundi on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
The Falconets earlier recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Burundi at the Azam Stadium in Dar es Salaam to claim a first-leg.
Falconets’ only goal in the second leg was scored by Esther Ajakaiye in the 78 minutes as Nigeria qualified for their 11 consecutive U20 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
This year’s FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup finals will be staged in Colombia,from 31st August – 22nd September.
