Two weeks after the conclusion of the 2023 African Cup of Nations, some factions of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club are yet to arrive in Nigeria.
The 2023 AFCON took place in Ivory Coast from January 13 to February 11 2024 as Host beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria 2-1 in the final to clinch their third title.
According to the report, the Nigeria football supporters are still on their way back from Ivory Coast AFCON 2023 and are stranded in Cape Coast Ghana.
The supporters said they have been in Ghana for three days now and need help to return to Nigeria.
” Well to God be the glory, this like three days and there is nothing we can do except we see a miracle.
“Please we need to get out of here, our family members do not even know where we are”
Nigeria reached the final of the 2023 AFCON but lost the title to host Ivory Coast.
