African representatives, Mali, Morocco and Egypt’s opponents in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games football events have been revealed
The draw for the men’s Olympic football tournament took place today (Wednesday 20 March) at Le Pulse Building in Saint-Denis, Paris.
Egypt are drawn in Group B alongside the Dominican Republic Spain and the runner-up of the 2023 Asian U23 Cup.
Group C consists of Morocco, Argentina, Ukraine and a the third-place winner of the 2023 U23 Asia Cup While Mali is paired against Paraguay, Israel and the Winner of the 2023 Asian U23 Cup.
Three Asian teams will be confirmed after the U-23 Asian Cup in May with the final team decided by an AFC-CAF play-off, the date of which is yet to be decided.
The Paris 2024 football tournaments will take place between the 24th of July and the 10th of August
