The Lagos State government has unveiled the ongoing transformation of the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere.
The State government began the reconstruction work after the CAF banned the stadium from hosting international matches.
The stadium will have a facelift in which there would be a change in the roof covering, track replacement, upgrading of the VIP Lounge, players dressing lounge, and the pitch.
The governor of Lagos state also announced Lagos state is taking steps towards providing a world-class sporting arena.
The re-modeled Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere and four other stadiums under reconstruction in Lagos State will be commissioned in the first quarter of 2024.
