One of the best private owned football club in Nigeria have pulled out from the Nigerian league after only six years in the league.
Vandrezzer Football Club is a professional football club in Lagos state, Nigeria, that competes in the Nigeria National League, the second tier of Nigerian Professional Football League.
Founded in 2019, the club joined the Nigerian National League and played at Agege Stadium since (formerly at Ikot Ikpene Township Stadium) its formation.
According to reports, the club took this decision due to financial constraints which led to owing players and staff a backlog of salaries. All official club activities have been shut down till further notice.
A sad one for a club who once served as a catalyst for innovations to many clubs in Nigeria due to it quality branding.
